PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A 27-year-old woman said she fought off an attacker after a Portland Trail Blazers game in what police called an attempted sexual assault.

The woman said she had attended the Blazers game against the Los Angeles Lakers and had been walking through a parking garage adjacent to North Drexler Drive around 10:15 p.m.

She told police a man approached her, grabbed her and began pulling her toward a fenced area.

The victim fought back, and the suspect let her go and ran away in an unknown direction.

Officers rushed to the area and searched for the suspect, but they did not find anyone matching his description.

The victim wasn't injured in the attack, and she later met with a police sketch artist to create a sketch of the attacker.

Anyone with information about this suspect or anyone who was in the area after the Blazer game that saw this suspect is asked to contact the Portland Police Bureau Sex Crimes Unit at (503) 823-9781.
