A man was shot, run over and killed in the parking lot of an eastern Oregon hospital.
Police arrested Juan Lopez, 24, of Ontario, Friday morning.
According to Ontario police, the shooting happened at 3:30 a.m. Friday outside the St. Alphonsus Medical Center.
Investigators said the victim, Dale Wright, 42, of Ontario, and Lopez knew each other and initially arrived at the hospital together.
After the shooting, police said Lopez drove away from the scene and drove over the victim in the process.
Wright was taken into the hospital and pronounced dead.
Lopez was later arrested at a home in Nyssa.
Lopez was booked in the Malheur County Jail on the charge of murder.
An autopsy is pending in the case.
A possible motive has not been revealed.
The case is being managed by Oregon State Police with the assistance of the Ontario Police Department, Malheur County Sheriff's Office, Nyssa Police Department and the Malheur County District Attorney.
