High school student caught taking photo up teacher's skirt

A Skyview High School student was caught snapping a photo underneath a teacher's dress, according to Vancouver Public Schools.

The names of both the student and teacher are being withheld at this point, but the district says it is taking the situation very seriously.

"That's just gross and inappropriate. It's a teacher - you shouldn't do that," said Skyview High School Junior Hailee King.

The district says inappropriate use of technology at the school is not allowed, and per district guidelines, the appropriate discipline was imposed.

"As a parent, I would definitely want my child to sit down and talk to them about what happened. I would want to know why they thought it was funny, or where they got the idea that it was a joke. This is no joke," said parent Kathy Irwin.

"I feel for the teacher. That's pretty bad knowing that a student has done that, and then to go back into school and teach."

The district would not comment on if the photo of the teacher involved was posted anywhere online, or shared among other students.

The Clark County school resource deputy is conducting a separate investigation, according to the sheriff's office.

"It's mortifying.  I'm not sure you can make things right. This is about as inappropriate as it gets," said parent Ken Weiner.
