MANNING, OR (KPTV) -

All lanes of Highway 6 were open again Thursday evening after a mudslide shut down the road a day earlier.

The slide location was about 8 miles west of Glenwood near the turnoff to Brown Camp. That's in the Tillamook State Forest.

The Oregon Department of Transportation sent crews from Tillamook and Manning to check out the slide, and an ODOT geologist was also called out to make an assessment.

Workers at the scene estimated that 300 to 400 yards of dirt and debris ended up on the highway. ODOT said it's about the equivalent of 40 dump truck loads.

Highway 6 was closed at Banks and Tillamook at 1:30 p.m.Wednesday and overnight into Thursday.

Two-way traffic was being flagged through in one lane by Thursday afternoon. At 5 p.m., ODOT announced all lanes had reopened.
