BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

Deputies are searching for suspects caught on camera in a credit and debit card fraud investigation involving the post office.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office released surveillance photos Tuesday of suspects and people of interest in the case.

Deputies said surveillance cameras captured them making charges and withdrawals on other people's accounts up to $500 at a time.

The investigation began last month after three people reported getting fraudulent charges on their accounts after buying stamps from self-service kiosks at post offices in Beaverton and Aloha.

Now, deputies say there are eight confirmed victims. Each one purchased stamps at those post offices.

Deputies said no skimming devices were found at the post offices, so it's still not clear how or if the kiosks are connected to the credit card crimes.

One victim told Fox 12 she bought stamps at the Aloha post office on a Friday. By Saturday, she got a call from the bank about a suspicious withdrawal of $500.

"It's overwhelming because I had my credit card. It's not like it was taken," she said. "So someone had a fake version of my credit card and used it."

If you recognize any of the people in the surveillance images or know anything about this investigation, you're asked to call the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said two of the surveillance photos initially released to Fox 12 from the Washington County Sheriff's Office showed people who are no longer considered suspects in the case. Investigators said the images were released in error, so they have been removed.
