TUALATIN, OR (KPTV) -

Massive steel beams slammed into the cab of a semi in Tualatin Monday.

Police said it happened around 1:30 p.m. on Southwest Tualatin-Sherwood Road at Martinazzi Avenue.

A viewer photo from the scene showed the heavy load had broken through the back of the cab. Police said the driver was not hurt and no other injuries were reported.

Traffic is blocked in the eastbound lanes and police said drivers should avoid the area or expect long delays.

No details were immediately available about what led to the incident.

A similar situation happened in early March in Tualatin. In that case, massive steel beams crashed through the cab and front window of a semi on Southwest Nyberg Road near Interstate 5.

In that case, the driver was also not injured.
