HILO, Hawaii, May 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Castle Resorts & Hotels (www.castleresorts.com), a full-service, international hotel management company based in Honolulu, Hawaii, unveiled a new brand identity for its iconic Hilo Hawaiian Hotel during a travel industry reception at the hotel yesterday. Signifying the growth and transformation following the property's recent $6.5 million renovation, the new logo and brand identity celebrate the unique culture of and modern facelift of the hotel.

The new logo, an evocative design based on traditional hula implements, is a bold and vibrant new take on Hilo Hawaiian Hotel's prior logo, which served as the hotel's identity for the past 40 years since it opened in 1973.
