VERNON, CT (WSHM) -

Police in Vernon, CT issued an Amber Alert this morning, but the mother and three children were located in Bangor, Maine Tuesday.

Up until Tuesday morning, Ryan Lewis, 9, and twin brothers Brandan and Dylan Lewis, both 7, were last seen with their mother, 32-year-old Jackie Morris Sunday.

Morris was charged with three counts of first-degree custodial interference and three counts of risk of injury to a minor, according to a news release sent to CBS 3 from Vernon Police Detective James Grady.

Morris was arrested by the Bangor Police Department as a fugitive from justice and was being held by their department. She has a court set bond of $250,000.

The three children are expected to be returned to their father's care by Tuesday night. Morris will be extradited to Connecticut and arraigned in State Superior Court in Rockville.

Morris was driving her children in a red 2004 Volkswagen Jetta with CT license plate 876-YGJ. She is about 5'2" and weighs 120 pounds, has brown hair, blue eyes, and a tattoo of a crucifix on her neck.

She reportedly has ties to Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine. Sources say she is from Southwick, Mass.
