Fairview police initially called the death of a 27-year-old woman suspicious. However, officers later reported it was a suicide.
Officers responded to the 21400 block of Fairview Lake Way at 5:17 p.m. Thursday and found the woman dead inside a home.
A Fairview police press release sent out Friday morning called the case suspicious, but added there was no danger to the public. Police sent out an updated release at 4:20 p.m. reporting the case had been ruled a suicide.
Fox 12 does not typically report on suicides, but this story was updated to reflect new information provided by police about the ongoing investigation.
