GASTON, OR (KPTV) -

A LifeFlight helicopter rushed a man to a Portland hospital after he fell 20 feet from a homemade zip line.

Gaston firefighters and Metro West paramedics rushed to an address on Northeast Rogol Drive at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.

They treated the injured man, and, because of the distance and time to the nearest hospital, a LifeFlight helicopter was called in.

There's no word on the man's current condition, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening, according to firefighters.
