A Longview woman was groped and then dragged into her house by her own neighbor after he made lewd comments to her, according to police.

Longview police arrested Robert Fredrickson on Tuesday evening. He's facing kidnapping, assault and burglary charges.

The victim tells FOX 12 this happened as she was returning home from a walk around Lake Sacagawea Tuesday night.

"I feel completely terrified now, violated and helpless, and I've never been put in that position before," said the woman who asked FOX 12 to protect her identity.

The victim says Fredrickson allegedly began making lewd comments to her, put his arm around her waist and grabbed her.

She says she was able to push him off and get away, but he continued with the comments, following to her house before leaving. Then, a few minutes later, the victim says that Fredrickson was back at her front door.

The victim believed he was coming over to apologize for his actions , but when she stepped out on her front porch, he allegedly attacked, according to the woman.

"He grabbed a hold of me and restrained me, and then opened my door, dragged me into the house, restrained me and assaulted me," said the woman. "I screamed, and I just kept screaming for help. The only way I could get him off of me was by thumping him in the face, and I just kept screaming until neighbors called police."

FOX 12 has learned that Fredrickson is also the same man who was arrested in October of last year for trying to eat a child's birthday cake at the Cowlitz County Hall of Justice.

The suspect has a lengthy criminal history, and was also cited for lewd behavior the same day of this latest arrest.

Fredrickson is behind bars, being held on $200,000 bail. He's set to make his first court appearance Thursday at 9 a.m.
