Joy Schwartz to Build Performance Marketing; Digital Leader Paul Marobella to Assume Role of President
CHICAGO, May 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Havas Worldwide Chicago announced today two changes to its senior leadership team. Joy Schwartz is taking on the new role of President, Performance Marketing, North America, and Paul Marobella has been named President, Havas Chicago Group.
Schwartz, a 20-year veteran of the marketing industry and a judge at the 2014 Cannes Lions, has served as Co-President at Havas Worldwide's Chicago agency since 2009, most recently overseeing and growing the Citi account. In her new role, Schwartz will be responsible for building and advancing the performance marketing discipline across Havas Worldwide North America, and will work to identify new areas of growth and innovation in direct and other aspects of performance marketing. She will report to Havas Worldwide Global CEO Andrew Benett.
As Schwartz expands her performance marketing responsibilities in North America, Paul Marobella will be taking on additional responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and operations of the Chicago agency as well as Havas Chicago Group, including Havas Discovery, a data-driven digital CRM agency; Havas Impact, a brand experience and events agency; Palm + Havas Chicago, a boutique brand agency; and Havas Latino, an integrated multi-cultural marketing practice. Marobella previously served as Havas WW Chicago's Chief Digital Officer and functional lead for data and CRM for Havas WW North America. Marobella's career spans more than two decades-in Chicago, Boston and New York-and combines digital, brand, data and CRM expertise developed while working on some of the world's leading brands.
Jason Peterson will continue in the role of Chief Creative Officer, Havas Worldwide Chicago, and Co-Chief Creative Officer, Havas Worldwide North America, focusing on driving innovative thinking across creative and new business, and delivering on the new integrated agency of the future. Peterson also leads the complete rebuilding and redesign of the agency's downtown office, slated for completion this fall.
