HAWKINS COUNTY, TN (WJHL) - Eleven months after a murder in Hawkins County, Tennessee, a the killer who burglarized a home and brutally beat a woman remains on the run.

This week's Monday's Most Wanted is a cold-blooded murderer who could still be walking the streets of the Tri-Cities Region.

On August 5th 2013, someone broke into the home of Regilla Ann Stacy on Mountain View School Road.

Investigators think the crime happened between 9:15 in the morning and 12:30 in the afternoon.

That person - or maybe people - burglarized the home and killed the 48-year-old woman known to friends as Jill.

The cause of death was described as blunt force trauma to the head.

Now - almost a year later - no arrests have been made in the case.

The TBI is in charge of the investigation.

A state spokesperson asked us to tell you that investigators are still actively investigating and looking for tips from the public.

Sheriff Ronnie Lawson hopes thinks someone saw something but doesn't realize it could be significant.   "It's a well-traveled road, so there's a chance someone saw someone that day and didn't think it was connected to a crime," Lawson said.

If you have information that could help find Regilla Ann Stacy's killer, call 1-800-TBI-FIND.
