JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) - A Johnson City man was arrested after police say he stole a motorcycle.

According to the Johnson City Police Department, 29 year old David Lee Osborne showed up to a family member's house pushing a motorcycle and wanting to hide it in the garage.

Instead of helping him hide the bike, the person who lived there called police.

Officers later found Osborne and the stolen motorcycle which was identified and returned to it's owner.

Osborne was charged with one count of felony auto theft.

He was taken to the Washington County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond and will be in court Monday afternoon.
