The Hancock County's Sheriff Office says 19-year-old Jerica Henry was driving her car south on Township Rd. 229 in Northern Hancock County when she lost control of the vehicle.

When the car drifted off the right side of the road Ms. Henry overcorrected and sent the car off the left side of the road, down a drainage ditch and into an embankment.

The six people riding in the car sustained injuries and required medical treatment.

They include Ms. Henry, Deanne Thomas, age 47, Max Thomas, age 8, Kaylee Thomas, age 7, Jaurie Henry, age 14, and Jobe Henry, age 11.

Four of the injured people were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay and two were taken by Lifeflight to St. Vincent's Medical Center in Toledo.

There is no word on their conditions at this time.

The accident remains under investigation.
