Nearly 5,000 people lost power in Clackamas County as the storm moved through the area.
In the Camas-Washougal area, more than 14,000 customers were without power, according to a Clark Public Utilities representative. The cause of that major outage was believed to be weather-related.
According to FOX 12 meteorologist Brian MacMillan, showers were expected to continue throughout the evening and into Tuesday morning for the metro area. By Tuesday afternoon, some clearing is expected.
There were no immediate reports of serious damage from the storm.
