CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
A Chagrin Falls woman, Kary Myles, is now facing years in prison after police say she plowed into a group of motorcycles when she looked down at her phone.
Investigators say they analyzed that phone with the help of Cuyahoga County prosecutors. They found Myles was not texting, but doing some activity with the phone. At this point, prosecutors can't reveal any more details.
Last month in Valley View, her van plowed into a group of motorcycles stopped at a light. Seven people on four motorcycles were hurt.
Myles was indicted on Wednesday with four counts of aggravated vehicular assault.
John Cosic was one of the victims.
"I looked in my mirror I see the van coming kinda quick like it wasn't gonna stop. One of the first things she said when she got out at the scene she looked down at her phone. I can't repeat what we said. But she has to learn you can't be doing this," Cosic said.
Myles will be in court next week. Each charge can carry up to five years in prison.
