MINNEAPOLIS, June 30, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- ACA International Education Foundation proudly announces today that Emily Schabel of Westport, Ind., will receive a $3,000 scholarship to help support her post-secondary education. Schabel, a graduate of Columbus North High School, will attend Butler University in Indianapolis, Ind.
Honoring the memories of Robert E. Loomer and Irvin "Dempsey" Mortenson, the Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship is available annually to four employees working within the credit and collections industry and members of their family. A total of $10,000 is split amongst the four winners.
Novak and the three other 2014 Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship winners were selected from a national pool of more than 70 applicants based on several criteria including an essay outlining the value of consumer credit. The three other 2014 Loomer-Mortenson recipients are Michael Davis of Bessemer, Ala., Wynter Novak of Omaha, Neb., and Pedro Olinger of Nashua, N.H.
