TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Three months after police and basketball fans clashed in Main Gate Square and cell phone video of a Tucson police sergeant knocking down a woman who appeared to pose no threat to him went viral, body cam video from the sergeant’s perspective is now available. Tucson Police released 20 more hours of body cam video Wednesday to include that from Sergeant Joel Mann. Two incidents that police consider inappropriate uses of force can be seen.

In the first incident, Sgt. Mann can be heard repeatedly yelling for people to move. He then knocks down a young woman in front of him, and then a young man next to her.

About eight minutes later according to police is when Sgt. Mann knocks down another young woman, the same woman who has been seen repeatedly in cell phone video of that same incident.

The department of public safety has conducted a criminal investigation while the FBI is investigating if Sgt. Mann violated anyone's civil rights. The Pima County Attorney’s Office will make a decision regarding criminal prosecution.

The Tucson Police Board of Inquiry that reviews the entire incident is hundreds of pages. It said that

more than a thousand people gathered on University Boulevard that night. The event was staffed with 148 police. Out of 15 arrests, 14 were released in the field. Nine were U of A students.

From training for all of the NCAA tournament to overtime for officers, the cost was more than $95,821.51.
