LONGVIEW, WA (KPTV) -

A woman ordered to turn her 1-year-old daughter over to protective services due to alleged drug use is on the run, according to the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies are asking for the public's help locating Christina Moore, 30, of Longview.

She appeared in court Monday and was served a court order requiring her to turn over her baby, named Diamond Lily Moore. Court documents list concerns for the child over Moore's alleged drug use, according to deputies.

Deputies said Moore failed to appear with her daughter and was believed to be hiding the girl from Child Protective Services workers.

On Wednesday afternoon, deputies said the baby had been located. Deputies said the child was dropped off at the house of a family friend by an unknown woman. The child is reported to be in good health and has been turned over to Child Protective Services.

Moore has not been located. She is 5'5" and 145 pounds with light brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has information about Moore or her child is asked to call the Cowlitz Sheriff's Office at 360-577-3092 or Crime Stoppers at 360-577-1206.
