DAMASCUS, OR (KPTV) -

Gresham police said they recovered a custom handcycle that was reported stolen by a quadriplegic Damascus man earlier this month.

Kip Johnson said he noticed on the morning of Aug. 16 that several cars parked outside his Damascus home had been broken into, but nothing really seemed to be missing. Then, the next day, he went to go for a bike ride and realized his blue hand cycle was gone.

Gresham PD said it got a tip that led them to an area near a homeless camp on the Springwater Corridor trail, where they found the cycle. Police have not identified a suspect in the reported theft.

Anyone with information should call police.
