No. 22 Ryan Blaney wins the 33rd Annual Food City 300

BRISTOL, TN (WJHL) -

No. 22 Ryan Blaney won the 33rd Annual Food City 300 Friday night, securing his second victory in 24 NASCAR Nationwide Series races.

According to a news release from NASCAR, Blaney's win in Bristol marked his first victory and seventh Top 10 finish in 2014, as well as his first victory and third Top 10 finish in three races at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Kyle Busch, driving the No. 54 car, came in second to Blaney, which marked his 17th Top 10 finish in 21 races at BMS and his 16th Top 10 finish in 2014.

The No. 9 car, driven by Chase Elliott, finished third Friday night at BMS.

Elliott's third place finish marked his second Top 10 finish in two races at BMS and he was the highest finishing rookie, according to the release.

10:50 p.m.- Caution into Turn 4- 4 laps to go. Blaney, Busch and Elliott top 3 leaders.

10:43 p.m.- CAUTION at Lap 281. No. 54 Busch still in lead.

10:35 p.m.- CAUTION: No. 11 Sadler into wall going into Turn 2.

10:23 p.m.- CAUTION: Elliott Sadler into the wall on the front straightaway. Busch still in the lead at Lap 224.

10:18 p.m.- No. 54 Kyle Busch new leader, followed by Ty Dillon in the No. 3.

10:05 p.m.- CAUTION- Race leaders heading to the pits.

10 p.m.- Larson still in the lead, followed by Busch, Dillon, Sadler and Elliott.

9:55 p.m.- Kyle Larson is the new leader of the Food City 300, Busch takes the No. 2 spot and No. 9 Elliott is 3rd. 

9:35 p.m.- Wreck around Turn 1 at Lap 110 involving the 44, 84, 17 cars. Cars stopped at Turn 3. 

9:27 p.m.- Joey Gase into Turn 2  at Lap 93. No. 4 Chase Elliott new leader.

9:20 p.m.- No. 19 Hermie Salder went into the wall at Turn 2 at Lap 84. Sadler still in the lead.

9:02 p.m.- CAUTION- John Wes Townley wrecks leaving turn two. 

8:51 p.m.- Green flag is out and we're racing at Bristol. 

8:23 p.m.- The track is dry and we're getting ready to race.

7:27 p.m.- RAIN DELAY- Just before the start of the race at 7:30 p.m., rain starts falling on Bristol. Dryers are out on the track and race fans have taken cover under the grandstands.

7 :20 p.m.- Nationwide cars are all lined up and the start of the 33rd Annual Food City 300 is almost here. Kyle Busch is on the pole.
