PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police say they caught a local real estate agent trying to lure a 15-year-old boy for sex off Craigslist.

Portland Police arrested 48-year-old Douglas Jodoin last Thursday, April 9 and charged him with first degree online sexual corruption of a child and luring a minor.

Jodoin posted bail the next day, went to court and pleaded not guilty.

The Craigslist ad Jodoin posted was titled “Looking For A Young Boy and/or Family Men – m4m – 47,” according to court documents from the district attorney's office.

Court documents say Portland Police were looking for ads on the website targeting minors when they found Jodoin's.

An undercover officer and Jodoin emailed 45 times over the course of two days, according to court documents, and arranged a meeting at a restaurant on Northeast 82nd Avenue last Thursday.

Court documents say police arrested him before he went in the restaurant and he later admitted to police he was planning on having sexual contact with the 15-year-old.

Jodoin told police he meant he was looking for someone over 18, but under 21 in his personal ad, according to court documents.

Police say Jodoin has a history of running ads looking for young boys for sex and court records show they tried to increase his bail because of it. They were unsuccessful in their efforts.

Jodoin's next court appearance is set for April 24.
