Pinball Outreach aims to help children in hospitals

Posted: Updated:
PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Clanks and bells are the sounds that bring back childhood for some, but now a whole new generation will get to play pinball.

It is part of a new outreach effort called the Pinball Outreach Project (POP) HQ, opened recently in Northeast Portland.

Organizers from the group work with children in hospitals, schools and community centers to give them a safe place to hang out and play for free.

Kids under 13 can play for free, and adults can relive the fun for a small donation. To learn more about the program, visit PinballOutreach.org.
