MCMINNVILLE, OR (KPTV) -

Firefighters had to call for extra help fighting a fire at a home in McMinnville Thursday morning.

The three-alarm fire broke out at a 2.5-story single-family home in the 600 block of Northeast Cowls Street.

Firefighters had to pull out of the home because of dangerous conditions, including fire in the attic, but they were later able to return to the home and extinguish the flames.

The home's residents were not home at the time of the fire and there were no reports of any injuries.

It wasn't immediately clear what caused the fire or how much damaged it caused.
