Crime Stoppers offering $1K reward in Vancouver homicide

Crime Stoppers of Oregon and the Vancouver Police Department are asking for the public's help to solve the death of a woman killed in her apartment that happened in May.

The body of 66-year-old Sharon Allison was discovered on May 9. Police performed a welfare check at the Columbia House Apartments on the 100 block of West 24th Street after a friend reported being unable to reach Allison.

Columbia House is a subsidized apartment building for seniors, and is operated by the Vancouver Housing Authority. Allison lived on the first floor.

Her death was caused by blunt head trauma and ruled a homicide, the medical examiner's office reported on Tuesday.

No possible suspect information has been released in this case.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
