Two men injured in SE Portland home invasion robbery

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Two men were injured in a home invasion robbery in southeast Portland on Monday morning.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of Southeast 162nd Avenue at 10:49 a.m.

As they were on the way, officers learned the suspect or suspects had fled the home.

Officers arrived and found two men suffering from injuries described as non-life threatening. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police said preliminary information showed the suspect or suspects entered the home demanding cash and marijuana.

Gunshots may have been fired, according to police, but neither victim was shot.

Robbery detectives were called out to continue the investigation.
