DAMASCUS, OR (KPTV) -

One man was killed and another injured after the two men shot each other during a confrontation at a Damascus mobile home park, according to deputies.

Emergency crews were called out to the Riverview Mobile Estates on the 15000 block of Southeast Highway 224 at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators said Jeremy Bonsignore, 25, of Oregon City, went to the home of Andrae Fenner, 29, in the River View Mobile Home Park.

Deputies said Bonsignore intended to confront a mutual acquaintance of the two men. A confrontation ensued between Bonsignore and Fenner and they exchanged gunfire, shooting each other.

Fenner suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. Bonsignore had a single gunshot wound to his leg and remained in the hospital Wednesday.

Deputies said nobody else was injured.

The investigation is ongoing and there was no immediate word about possible charges in this case.
