Firefighters were able to put it out quickly before it spread to any other buildings.

School officials said a custodian and two students who were jogging by and called 911. One witness was surprised it did not spread.

"There was smoke coming from the roof and flames shooting from that wall and it got to be pretty good," Tim Weber said. "The grass was all dry here, I'm surprised it didn't catch fire."

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
