Portland Police have arrested a man in connection with a Portland homicide that occurred in June.

Portland Police have arrested 36-year-old Patrick Rembert. According to police, Rembert was previously indicted by a Multnomah County Grand Jury on charges of manslaughter and assault. Rembert was also said to have an outstanding parole violation.

Police said they began their investigation on June 4, when officers responded to the report of an assault in the 300 block of NW 6th Ave.

When police arrived they said they located the victim, 54-year-old Marvin Holiday. Holiday was transported to the hospital where he later died.
