WOODBURN, OR (KPTV) -

A 15-year-old boy is facing possible Measure 11 robbery charges after a pair of holdups Monday in Woodburn.

Police said the boy first robbed the Wal-Mart at 3002 Stacy Allison Way at about 12:20 p.m.

They said the boy stole some merchandise from the store and pointed a gun at an employee trying to stop him. He then took off on a bicycle.

At 1:35 p.m., officers responded to another robbery call at the Big 5 Store at 1575 Mount Hood Avenue.

In that robbery, the suspect again fled the scene on his bike.

He was later found near Woodburn City Hall and arrested by police.

He was taken to the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center on two counts of first degree robbery.
