Police seeking suspect caught on camera in Vancouver armed robbery

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Police are searching for a suspect who was recorded on surveillance cameras robbing a Vancouver gas station at gunpoint.

Police said the man showed a semi-automatic handgun when he robbed the Chevron gas station at 14135 Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard around 4 a.m. July 24.

Officers said the man then fled the scene on foot.

Police described the man as black, about 6 feet or 6 ft. 2 in. tall and approximately 200 pounds. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with a Superman logo and Nike shoes.
