Clackamas Co. man accused of sexually abusing two children in Lebanon

LEBANON, OR (KPTV) -

A man living in Clackamas County is facing charges including first-degree sex abuse involving two juveniles in Lebanon.

Lebanon police arrested John Cook, 40, on Wednesday.

Investigators said the crimes occurred between 2014 and 2015 when Cook lived in Lebanon.

During a three-month investigation, detectives said they learned he was now living in Clackamas County. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office assisted taking Cook into custody.

Detectives said they have identified two juvenile victims that were known to Cook.

Cook was booked in the Linn County Jail on charges of first-degree sex abuse, third-degree sex abuse and first-degree unlawful sexual penetration.
