Woman charged with DUI after Battle Ground crash while two kids were in car

BATTLE GROUND, WA (KPTV) -

Washington State Police arrested a Vancouver woman and charged her with DUI after she caused a crash in Battle Ground while two children were in her car.

According to police, Myah Lovett, 33, was traveling Westbound on Rock Creek Road Tuesday night when she failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with another vehicle.

The two children, ages 5 and 7, who were in the back of the car during the crash were uninjured. Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 57-year-old woman, was injured and transported to a local hospital. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident.

According to the WSP report, Lovett is facing one charge of driving under the influence, as well as two charges of reckless endangerment.
