HAPPY VALLEY, OR (KPTV) -

A woman wearing a fake mustache robbed a Happy Valley bank and threatened to use a bomb, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the U.S. Bank on the 11300 block of Southeast 82nd Avenue at 3:37 p.m. Wednesday.

The suspect presented a note with a bomb threat demanding money. Witnesses said no weapons or bombs were seen, but the woman was carrying a backpack.

She left on foot heading northbound on Southeast 82nd Avenue and was last seen near Southeast Causey Boulevard.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic woman with dark hair tucked into a Cincinnati Red's baseball hat that was red with a white "C." She was 5'3" with a thin build weighing around 100 pounds.

She was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black saggy pants and had a black backpack.

The woman was also described as wearing a thin mustache that witnesses said appeared to be fake.

Deputies said some witnesses described the suspect as a feminine-looking man, but most witnesses believed the suspect was a woman wearing a disguise.

The suspect also had an East Coast accent, according to witnesses.

Surveillance photos were released by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. If you recognize the suspect, you're asked to call the sheriff's office tip line at 503-723-4949 or go online to http://web3.clackamas.us/contact/tip.jsp. Refer to case number 15-21713.
