THE DALLES, OR (KPTV) -

A woman has died after she attempted to cross eastbound lanes of I-84 near The Dalles, according to Oregon State Police.

On Friday around 3:05 p.m., OSP Troopers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian on I-84 near milepost 85.

When troopers arrived they said they found Eunice Spino, 47, from The Dalles, had been struck by a vehicle and died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, Lynoure Won, 56, is cooperating with the investigation.

Police are still investigating, but they said early indications suggest Spino was under the influence of alcohol when she tried to cross the road.

I-84 was closed for about one hour, but is back open.

OSP was assisted by The Dalles PD, the Wasco County Sheriff's Office, ODOT, and the Wasco County District Attorney's Office.
