PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A Portland corn maze was created with a Rip City theme to honor the late Trail Blazers legend Jerome Kersey.

Bella Organic Farm on Sauvie Island is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for its 2015 corn maze at noon Aug. 30.

The maze will be open daily from Aug. 30 through Oct. 31.

The owners said this year they decided to honor Kersey, who died in February at the age of 52 from a blood clot that traveled from his leg into his main pulmonary arteries.

"He was a good man and made such a positive impact on our community here in Portland, so we wanted to take this opportunity to remember him," a Bella Organic Farm release states.

The maze includes the Portland skyline, a Trail Blazers pinwheel logo and #JK25, in honor of Kersey, who wore the jersey number 25 during his 11 seasons in Portland.
