PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A year after a pregnant woman was shot and killed in a southeast Portland apartment, the shooters remain on the loose.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 in the homicide investigation of 21-year-old Ervaeua Herring.

Police responded to the Eastwood Village Apartments, 15139 S.E. Powell Blvd., at 5 a.m. Aug. 17, 2014.

Officers located evidence of gunfire and then found the woman dead inside of a gunshot wound.

Investigators have learned there were multiple men firing guns at the apartment. Police said evidence in the investigation indicates the shooting is gang-related.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and determined that Herring was in the early stages of pregnancy at the time she was shot and killed.

Her mother told FOX 12 in August 2014 that Herring also had a 1-year-old son.

"It's not fair to the babies," Aleasha Branch said. "It's not fair to the mothers, the fathers."

The only available suspect description is that the gunmen were black males.

Homicide detectives are working closely with Gang Enforcement Team detectives to follow-up on any leads in this investigation.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
