TIGARD, OR (KPTV) -

A man who pleaded guilty in connection to a butane hash oil explosion at a TriMet Park & Ride lot in Tigard was sentenced to house arrest.

Dale Corzine was arrested in July 2014. Firefighters responded to the parking lot at Southwest 74th and Pacific Highway on reports of an explosion and car fire.

Nearby employees reported feeling their buildings tremble from the blast.

Two cars were destroyed and three others were damaged. Corzine was taken to the burn center of a Portland hospital for treatment.

Investigators said he admitted to extracting butane hash oil, leading to the explosion.

He pleaded guilty in February to the charge of endangering human life while manufacturing a controlled substance.

He was sentenced Monday to no further jail time, with credit for the time he has already served, as well as six months house arrest and five years formal probation.
