Police: Five people arrested during drug bust in Lincoln County

WALDPORT, OR (KPTV) -

Five people were arrested after detectives served a search warrant at a home in Waldport on Tuesday.

Detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Crime Reduction Unit served the search warrant around 8 a.m. at a home in the 4000 block of East Alsea Highway.

Detectives said methamphetamine and evidence related to suspected drug trafficking were found in the home. 

Further investigation resulted in other arrests in the area that were related to drug possession and a convicted felon with a gun.

The following people were arrested as a result of the investigation:

Dustin K. Ware, 33, Patrick R. Olson, 34, and Nathanael L. Hargrove, 29, are being charged with unlawful possession of meth and unlawful delivery of meth.

Ware is also being charged with unlawful manufacture of meth. Hargove is also being charged with felon in possession of a weapon.

Gerald E. Laplant, 28, is being charged with unlawful possession of meth.

Joseph R. Cullison, 24, of Yachats, is being charged with fail to appear in Lincoln County Circuit Court Warrant. Cullison's original charge was theft.
