Legally blind Forest Grove man found in Hillsboro

UPDATE (8:53 a.m.): Police said Frank Kitchen was found at a park in Hillsboro.

It wasn't immediately clear how he got there, but officers said he frequently used public transportation.


ORIGINAL STORY:

Forest Grove Police are asking for help finding an endangered elderly man who walked away from a home on Wednesday night and has not been heard from since.

Police said Frank Raymond Kitchen was last seen in the 3800 block of Pacific Avenue and is not familiar with the area. Kitchen recently moved to Forest Grove with his family from California.

Kitchen is said to be legally blind and may have early onset dementia.

Kitchen has used the bus about 4 to 5 times and could possible be using public transportation.

Police said Kitchen is 5'10" and 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing camouflage cargo-type shorts and a buttoned up shirt.
