Police: Three men arrested after robbing Gresham Plaid Pantry

GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

Three men were arrested after they robbed a Plaid Pantry in Gresham early Wednesday morning.

Police said the responded to a report of an armed robbery at a Plaid Pantry, located at 18014 SE Stark Street, around 4:55 a.m. 

Police said three men were wearing masks and had a handgun when they robbed the clerk. The men grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and tobacco products, then left the area on foot.

Police said after they reviewed the surveillance video and interviewed witnesses, they found the suspects in the area of SE 190th Avenue and SE Yamhill Street.

Two of the suspects were hiding in a nearby vacant apartment. 

Damien Brumfield and Leandre Moore, both 19, were arrested and charged with robbery in the second degree and criminal trespass in the first degree. 

Moore has a prior conviction for robbery and is being held for violating his parole.

Deontre Mallet, 16, was also arrested and booked on charges of robbery in the second degree.

Police said the recovered evidence from the robbery, including a replica firearm.
