PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Firefighters rescued a man who was pinned in his car after a rollover crash in southeast Portland.

Crews responded to the scene at Southeast 106th and Division at 8 a.m. Sunday.

Witnesses reported the car rolling several times before coming to a stop.

Firefighters were able to remove the top of the car and the driver's side door to rescue the driver.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment. An update on his condition was not immediately available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, however firefighters issued the following statement Sunday, "Portland Fire & Rescue reminds people to drive safely and remember roads may be slippery given the recent rain."
