Eugene police seek 3 people in connection to deadly shooting of 17-year-old

EUGENE, OR (KPTV) -

Eugene police are seeking three persons of interest in connection to the deadly shooting of a 17-year-old.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment on 90 Commons Drive at 12:32 a.m. Sunday. They arrived to find one person dead.

The victim was identified as 17-year-old Justin Gardner. Police said his death is considered a homicide.

The Eugene Police department said Sunday they were seeking three persons of interest in connection to the investigation. They were identified as 19-year-old Sean Jones, 19-year-old Zachary Beauchamp and 19-year-old Mariah Morphew.

No other details were released about the ongoing investigation.

According to police, Gardner had just turned 17 years old last week.
