A Lebanon man was arrested early Tuesday morning and is facing 103 counts of first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse in connection to a child pornography investigation.

A search warrant was served at a home on the 1300 block of Grove Street.

The investigation began after a device associated with that address was observed distributing child pornography images over the internet, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.

Matthew Schuler, 33, was arrested Tuesday. Deputies said he admitted to using personal computers to download and share child pornography online.

Numerous digital devices were seized as part of the investigation and they will be examined forensically by Linn County Sheriff's Office investigators.

Detectives from the Benton County Sheriff's Office, Lebanon Police Department and Corvallis Police Department assisted with the search warrant.
