ALBANY, OR (KPTV) -

Linn County Sheriff's Office arrested a man on Monday after he caused serious physical injury to a 33-year-old woman.

Deputies said Andrew Formby-Carter, 31, of Albany, was with his wife, the victim and another man when they left a party together that was held on Tangent Loop south in Albany.

According to Deputies, witnesses said an argument started in the car between Formby-Carter and the victim. Formby-Carter allegedly hit the victim with some type of glass bottle, causing injury to her eye and face.

Deputies said alcohol was a factor in this incident.

Formby-Carter was taken to Linn County Jail and charged with Assault II, which is a Measure 11 crime.
