Police: Hillsboro man arrested after refusing to pay cab fare

HILLSBORO, OR (KPTV) -

A Hillsboro man was arrested after he refused to pay cab fare and then fought with the cab driver Monday night.

Hillsboro Police said the incident happened around 10:20 p.m. when Jesus Alberto Raigoza-Pech, 27, took a cab to 550 SE Baseline. When the ride ended he refused to pay and got began to fight the cab driver.

The cab driver, Robert Papen, with Quality Cab held Raigoza-Pech down on the sidewalk and called police.

Police said Raigoza-Pech was suspected to be drunk.

Raigoza-Pech was arrested for assault in the fourth degree and harassment and taken to Washington County Jail.
