PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Are you tough enough? Columbia Sportswear is searching for people not afraid of going to the extreme.

Tuesday was the final interview for a new position with the Portland-based company that they are calling their Director of Toughness.

The out of the ordinary job comes with some amazing perks.

The directors will get the opportunity to test Columbia’s gear in wildly iconic and extreme locations across America and the world.

Since most of the job is traveling, the company said there's no telling where they'll end up.

The final interviews took place at Columbia Sportswear's flagship store in Portland Tuesday morning.

Fox 12 weather anchor Andy Carson was one of the interviewers. He helped put the candidates through some physical challenges, like packing up a sleeping bag in less than a minute, and also got the chance to ask the candidates questions about their greatest fears in the wilderness or their most wild trips.

A company spokesperson said the Directors of Toughness will need to withstand unpredictable weather conditions and harsh terrains.

The Director of Toughness will document and broadcast everywhere from national television shows to social media. All the travel is included and they will make $26,000.

The company will be hiring two people for the job, and the winner will be announced on an upcoming episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
