A massage therapist wanted in connection with several accusations of inappropriately touching customers has been arrested.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office took Valentin Delgado into custody Tuesday.

Deputies said border patrol agents arrested Delgado in El Centro, California on Aug. 24 and then extradited to to Clark County Sept. 8.

Delgado was originally arrested in March after police received reports from clients involving unwanted sexual contact and inappropriate conduct.

Delgado was due in court in April but never showed up and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Court documents state complaints from Delgado's customers included failing to cover their bodies in a professional manner, leaving massage oil in inappropriate places on their bodies and tucking the cover sheet inappropriately into their underclothing.

After the initial charges, police said they received more complaints about Delgado and as of May, he was facing 18 indecent liberties counts in Clark County.

As of his arrest this week, Delgado faces a charge of jumping bail and 10 new counts of indecent liberties.

Police said Delgado, owner of Massage by Valentin, worked at five other spas in southwest Washington, including Hand and Stone, Spoiled Spa and Salon and Elements Therapeutic Massage in Vancouver, Bridge Chiropractic in Salmon Creek and Estetica Day Spa in Longview.

One of Delgado's alleged victims, who wished to only be identified as "Ronni," described her incident with him "one of the most horrible experiences" of her life.

“There’s obvious areas you don’t go to when you’re massaging. He asked me if he could massage my breasts.  I said no and he did it anyway,” she recalled. I was scared and confused, and I couldn’t understand how someone could do something like that.”

“Ronni” said she and her husband have been on edge since Delgado jumped bail, and that the news of his capture brought them relief. She also encouraged anyone else victimized by Delgado to come forward.

“I know that it’s hard, but know that you’re not the only ones,” “Ronni” said. “You’re not the only ones and if it happened to you, come forward so we can have a solid foundation for these charges.”
