Portland police asked for the public's help Wednesday finding a woman who has been missing since Tuesday evening.

Police said the last time anyone made contact with Lisa Jane Wright was around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, when she left her home in the Linnton neighborhood in northwest Portland to go for a walk.

Around 11:45 p.m., some of Wright's belongings were found on the north side of the St. Johns Bridge, police said.

Police said there were no indications that Wright intended to harm herself, but officers called in the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office River Patrol to search the area. Searchers did not find any sign of Wright.

Police describe Wright as a white woman, about 5 ft. 4 in. tall and 125 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She wears glasses and has a large tattoo on her right shoulder. When she was last seen, Wright was wearing a long-sleeved button-up shirt and tight-fitting pants.

Anyone who sees Wright should call 9-1-1 or contact Detective Heidi Helwig at 503-823-0797.
